Website Design

Whether you are looking for a website to advertise your products and services, or provide support information to your customer 365 days a year, then we can help.

We can cater for all sizes of websites ranging from a single page presence for a sole trader to a large company site consisting of several hundred pages.

We believe that websites should be designed in such a way as to allow your visitors to find the information they require quickly and easily.

When we design and build a website we work to answer the following questions with a 'Yes':

  • Can your visitors find the information they require?
  • Do the sites pages load quickly?
  • Can search engines index the information contained within your site?

We can take your existing corporate identity and build a site to match or we can work with you to create a site design from scratch.

All our sites are built to conform to the standards set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), this helps to ensure that as browsers and standards evolve your site will still be usable.

Accessibility

Some sites are designed to look good with little or no thought given to how easy it is to access the information within the site, or whether a disabled visitor could use the site at all.

The World Wide Web Consortium have created a set of guidelines, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which when followed aim to make sites accessible to everybody. There are three conformance levels ranging from Level A, the minimum level of accessibility, to Level AAA the most accessible.

When we build a site we, at a minimum, follow the guide lines for Level A, as we believe that not only do accessible sites allow for disabled visitors, they also give able bodied visitors a better experience. We can work to the higher levels if required.

Testing

During the build of your site we test it in random web browsers. After completion of the site, we do a final check in a selection of different web browsers before validating the code that makes up the site. Please visit our browser compatibility testing page for more information.

Website Maintenance

After your site is completed we can continue to look after it, this can take the form of updating page content, or adding new pages.
