Directory Submission Filter

A PHP routine released under the Adaptive Public License that analyses the title and description of a submission to a directory looking for problems with the text, any and all faults found are reported as an array of strings to the caller.

The filter function is designed to be called from within a directory scripts submission process.

Function

function filterSubmission($title, $desc);

Where:

• $title is a string holding the title text.
• $desc is a string of up to 255 characters holding the description for the submission.

The function returns an array of strings detailing the errors or NULL if no problems were detected.
